Capabilities

We work with engineering and R&D departments to provide precision machine work. Lastly, industrial maintenance and we provide assembly line fixtures as well also require precision machine work.

Quantity and Quality

Whether it’s a one-off part or a large batch, our team is here for you. In addition to our precision machine work services we can deliver several ways.

CNC Technology

We have two Doosan Lynx turning centers with X, Y, Z, C & A axis, plus live tooling. We also have bar feeders and an active sub spindle, allowing us to make large runs of complicated parts easily. Precision machine work is simplified using this type of technology.

Spindle Clearance

The primary spindle has a clearance of 2.6 inches, and we have 20 inches between the spindles.

VMC Milling Centers

In addition to the turning centers, we have multiple mills from HAAS, Fadal and Milltronics with 3 and 4 axis capabilities. These make precision machine work much more controllable and give us versatility.

Software

In addition to the adaptive machining software CAMWorks, we are ready to make complex or simple milled parts to a high degree of precision.

We are Ready

We can do large or small runs, and even prototype or one-off parts. Precision machine work is something that doesnt know batch size.

Materials

We work with hard and exotic materials frequently. If you need parts in an alloy that is uncommon, we can almost certainly handle it. Doing precision machine work in exotic alloys is a specialty.

Material Familiarity

We most commonly use 17-4 stainless steel in H1150 and H900 heat treats. Alternatively, 6Al4V titanium, 3Al2.5V titanium alloys are commonly used. Thirdly, 4140HT, 303 stainless steel, and even 718 Inconel are used as well.

What else can we use?

Our precision machine work capabilities go even beyond this list. Moreover, if you have an alternate alloy in mind we can probably source that also.

Digital Technology

In addition to our manufacturing capacity, we have up to date SolidWorks and CAMWorks software. Straightaway, giving us the ability to make 3D solid models and assemblies.

Prints and Programs

Alternatively, modern precision machine work generates 2D prints and use adaptive machining based on the actual part files.

Design Criteria

This gives us the ability to design and engineer new parts and fixtures. Also, we can check for fitment between parts, proving out the programs before ever starting to make the final parts.

Customer Value

This benefits the end customer by making precision machine work, fitment and function more reliable, with less time invested.

Welding

Saylors Machine has multiple welders with decades of experience in the field. For that reason, precision machine work starts with high quality welds. In addition to stick welding, we can do MIG or TIG welding as well.

What metals do we weld?

Usually on a wide variety of materials including various grades of stainless steel, titanium and aluminum. Additionally, this is something that is not associated with precision machine work, but it is.
